Because the learning is so convenient and mobile friendly, no one needs to learn at the same time. Participants can access the platform when they have time and when their energy levels and focus are best.

The process is collaborative, so participants will learn alongside their peers – everyone is encouraged to share ideas and experiences with each other via coaches (Huthwaite coaches, sales managers or others) The coaches are permanently engaged throughout and the platform supports their involvement at key times – they provide the real key to the success of this learning journey.

The digital learning experience

The collaborative platform itself is built on robust infrastructure and is updated with the latest security features. The content within the platform is created and built by Huthwaite Behaviour Change Experts and Master Trainers who have supported businesses of various sizes as they transform their sales operations. They can also be used as coaches, instead of, or as well, as their line managers or sales managers.

It is important that coaches recognise how the behaviour change programme supports a clients’ strategic priorities and helps them to achieve their goals. They need to be advocates of the collaborative platform and believers in its effectiveness.

Project management

Organising training programmes can mean hours of administrative work. With our collaborative platform, participants register themselves and are given instruction directly through the platform. It is quick and easy to pull out the data needed to measure effectiveness and information such as peer engagement, rate of completion, and assessment results can be gathered through reports. Clients can track what people have actually done, rather than just which learning modules they have launched.

Most importantly, the designated coaches are not only involved in overseeing what work is done, but how it is done. They will act as role models for new skills, feedback and behaviours and provide actionable feedback.

The Behaviour Change journey

Our digital approach supports the whole learning journey structure but most importantly, participants have a greater opportunity to learn and interact with each other as they progress. Behaviour change happens incrementally and ‘on-the-job’. Changing behaviour on your own is difficult. Changing behaviour when everyone else is doing the same is much easier and more natural. We want to belong, we want to be in step with our peers and team mates. We travel further and faster together when it is ‘the way we do things around here’.

Who will act as my coach?

Usually your line manager or experienced peer. Huthwaite can train managers and experienced sellers to play a full part in the process. They will need to be SPIN® trained before learning how to be a SPIN® Coach.

Will I need to download an app or any specific software?

No, so long as you have a device which can access the internet. The programme uses video so you should have headphones or, if you're in a public space, you can watch with subtitles.

How long is the programme?

You can take as a long as you like to compete the programme. It is designed to be completed over a number of weeks working around 30 minutes every other day. For most people working regularly with prospects and customers, you would expect to complete all activities in around 10 weeks. However, if you want to go further, faster - that's fine! If you'd rather take your time, that's also possible, but do try not to lose momentum.
